Dental Assistant

Mia is a dental assistant at Smiles HQ who brings a friendly, calm and well-organised approach to patient care. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

Mia completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting at TAFE while undertaking a traineeship with a paediatric dental specialist. During this time, she also worked one day per week in hospital theatre, where she developed valuable clinical and teamwork skills. She has over two years of experience in the dental field and recently joined the Smiles HQ team.

Mia strives to always be a positive light to patients and aims to reassure those with dental anxiety. She finds great satisfaction in creating positive dental experiences for patients of all ages. Mia also values working in a supportive team environment where everyone helps each other deliver personalised care.

Outside of work, Mia is an athlete who trains daily, enjoys swimming and beach time and competes in endurance running events across Australia. She also has a passion for cooking, with sushi being her specialty.
