Oral Health Therapist

Casey serves as an oral health therapist at SmilesHQ. Her role involves patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment, with a strong focus on oral hygiene and preventative dentistry. She received her education and training at the University of Newcastle.

Casey has a particular passion for caring for children and patients with special needs. As the mother of a child with a disability, she understands how meaningful every medical and dental appointment can be for families.

She has been in the dental field for nearly a decade as a dental assistant in an orthodontic practice and has working as an oral health therapist since 2011. Her experience spans both public and private practices, including working alongside a paediatric dentist. She has also served as a clinical tutor at the University of Newcastle.

Casey loves helping patients who arrive feeling anxious and leave with a smile. She originally entered the dental field as a dental assistant after finishing school and quickly fell in love with the profession, inspiring her to pursue a path that allowed her to help patients more directly.

Outside of work and time with loved ones, Casey enjoys reading, Pilates, and camping. She also enjoys creating handmade items with her Cricut®, and she's part of a book club with friends.
