Dr David Jang is a principal dentist with a special interest in oral surgery and digital implant dentistry. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland and went on to earn a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation & Pain Control) from the University of Sydney. He is currently completing his Master of Science in Oral Implantology at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

David has been serving the local community for over a decade—originally through Canada Bay Dental, which has since evolved into The Smile Artisans, a modern and fully equipped dental facility in Breakfast Point. With state-of-the-art technology and a commitment to innovation, the clinic is designed to deliver seamless, cutting-edge care and exceptional outcomes for every patient.

His clinical focus lies in implant placement—including immediate implants—wisdom teeth removal, and the integration of digital workflows such as surgical guide planning and 3D-printed provisional restorations. He is passionate about restoring smiles through precision, predictability, and patient focused care.

David is actively involved in teaching and mentoring other dentists in all aspects of implant dentistry. He regularly lectures in Australia and Korea, and conducts live surgical training courses in Vietnam. As a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Dentium implants and the Highness prosthetic system, he plays a key role in shaping implant education and innovation.

He holds a Fellowship and Mastership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), a Fellowship with the World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery (WAUPS), and is an engaged member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian Society of Dental Anesthesiology (ASDA).

Known for his gentle approach and focus on communication, David ensures every patient feels informed and at ease before treatment begins. His philosophy centres on building trust and delivering care with both precision and empathy.

When not in the clinic, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. He is a devoted member of his Catholic church community and finds fulfillment in faith, family, and the joy of helping others smile confidently.
